What does a more inclusive campaign for water safety look like? Lets find out! The RespectTheWater campaign is an invitation for those from the wider community of Tauranga Moana to come together, to share and to encourage each other to be safer around the water. This campaign is facilitated by The Global Swim Project in cooperation with Tauranga City Council. Follow the button below to find out more about this campaign!
We need to build and reinforce our respect for all water, whether around the ocean, lakes, rivers and streams or swimming pools.
The better we understand how water behaves and the affect it has on our body, the safer we can be when we work, play or gather around it.
Stengthening our connection across indusry and our greater community helps to keep us all safer.
The #RespectTheWater Campaign is a pilot project supported by The Global Swim Project in cooperation with Tauranga City Council, and is funded via inkind and financial contributions including the Tauranga Community Development Fund and the Ethnic Community Development Fund, 2022/2023. This campaign acknowledges RNLI and their original campaign using the #RespectTheWater tag and theme. Visit their original campaign site at www.respectthewater.com.

As part of this campaign you can:
* Share what you know and learn.
